There is a "low to medium" risk that Russia will invade Ukraine over the next few weeks, the top U.S. general in Europe said on Thursday, in the first such military assessment amid mounting concern about Russian troop movements toward Ukraine's borders.

Tod Wolters, commander of the U.S. European Command and NATO Supreme Allied Commander-Europe, visited Ankara on Jan. 30 for talks which primarily focused on Syria, diplomatic sources have told Hürriyet Daily News.

As stated from PM's Office, Haradinaj discussed the overall development and security situation in Kosovo, the region and beyond, on the meeting held with the NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe General Tod Wolters.
