Two state projects to explore and exploit gas and oil in Croatia are on hold until the new government prepares everything for the signing of contracts with foreign companies.

The Croatian economy ministry is thinking about removing the planned liquefied natural gas, LNG, terminal on the northern island of Krk from its list of strategic investment projects, media in the country have reported.

When officials of the new centre-right government and first-time MPs filled in their asset declaration on Wednesday, some reported surprisingly modest assets in term of private properties.
