All prominent economy figures from each of Turkey's four largest political parties have managed to enter parliament in the June 7 election. 

Turkey's economic institutions must be reconstructed while comprehensive growth-oriented economic policies need to be realized after the elections, said ?brahim Turhan, who left his chairman post at Borsa Istanbul to run for a Justice and Development Party (AKP) seat in the June 7 elections.

Two high-ranking officials in Ankara told Reuters Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan will stay on in at least an advisory role to Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu, if the Justice and Development Party (AKP) forms the next government.

The ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) top economy executives will be replaced in the June 7 election, according to its recently announced candidate list, while the opposition parties' nomination of leading economic figures apparently displayed their bid to show voters that they are ready to take power.

Borsa Istanbul head ?brahim Turhan resigned from his position on Feb. 10 to become a candidate in the June parliamentary elections, although he had previously refuted the claims about his possible resignation.
