Police union: Vucic got rid of police security
The Police (Trade) Union of Serbia (PSS) has announced that a police unit providing security to the president of the Republic has been "disbanded."
According to a statement, carried on Thursday by Beta, this happened in early August, with 80 specially trained officers getting reassigned to various other police units.

Thousands Gather in New Anti-Govt Rally in Belgrade
More than 15,000 people rallied in Belgrade on Saturday as the country's army and police unions protested for better working conditions, higher wages and the establishment of the rule of law in the country, while others demanded that the government step down.
New round of talks on collective agreement next week
BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and the representative police trade union of Serbia (PSS) agreed on Saturday to launch a new round of negotiations on the special collective agreement for police officers as early as next week.
After the meeting, Stefanovic once again urged the trade unions on strike to end the protest and continue the negotiations.
