Only a few hours remain now for the inauguration of the Thessaloniki Metro. The unveiling of the iconic “Venizelos” station took place earlier on Friday.

Traffic restrictions will be imposed on metro and tram services tomorrow Monday by order of the Hellenic Police, due to the parades to celebrate the National Anniversary of October 28th 1940.

The US Branch of the Venizelos Foundation has announced the completion of the restoration of the historic statue of Eleftherios Venizelos at the Embassy of Greece in Washington.
