The Vienna Symphony Orchestra joins forces with acclaimed violinist and conductor Leonidas Kavakos for a performance at the open-air Herod Atticus Theater on Saturday, June 22. Founded in 1900, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra has collaborated with celebrated maestros including Wilhelm Furtwangler, Herbert von Karajan, Georges Pretre and Vladimir Fedoseyev.

The Athens State Orchestra has invited critically acclaimed conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev to lead the ensemble - for the first time - in a splendid tribute to the classical music of his native Russia at the Athens Concert Hall on Saturday, June 1.

Award-winning maestro Vladimir Fedoseyev conducts the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (TSO), the historic Russian ensemble which he has led as artistic director since 1974, in works by the celebrated composer for two Greek Festival shows at the Herod Atticus Theater in central Athens.

The TSO will be joined by the distinguished, award-winning Russian pianist Varvara Nepomnyashchaya.
