ECHR Backs Croatia’s Right to Keep Tudjman Documents Secret
The European Court for Human Rights, ECHR, on Thursday ruled that Croatia does not have to give a writer access to the classified transcripts of the late President Franjo Tudjman's conversations.
Vladimir Seks, a former politician, wanted access to the documents for a book he is writing on the foundation of modern Croatia.

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic's constitutional and legal adviser, Vladimir Seks, was forced out on Wednesday after it emerged that he sought a pardon for a personal contact.

Croatian President and Govt Tussle over Army
Croatia's new President, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, is at odds with the centre-left government over who commands the country's armed forces in peacetime.
Grabar Kitarovic last Friday maintained that she commanded the army in peacetime, adding that a planned military parade for August would not therefore be held.
