SYRIZA's spokesperson Voula Kehagia has resigned from her position in the wake of the ouster of Stefanos Kasselakis as leader of the main opposition party.

Her departure follows that of Evgenia Kountouri, head of the party's press office, and Babis Papadakis, head of Kasselakis' press office, on Monday.

The President of SYRIZA PS, Stefanos Kasselakis, provided an updated account regarding the specifications of the pool at his residence in Spetses during an interview with Hellenic Radio. He discussed the depth of the pool, highlighting the presence of a tank with a license since 1978.

A sudden outburst by SYRIZA leader Stefanos Kasselakis during an online meeting of the opposition's commission preparing the next party congress and the departure of several prominent members are indicative of the party's fragile unity, even after several dissidents have quit.

Main opposition party SYRIZA leader Stefanos Kasselakis has challenged Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to a debate, SYRIZA spokesperson Voula Kehagia announced Tuesday.

This call comes amidst a war of words between the two parties ahead of Sunday's European elections. 

The Kasselakis saga would not have existed if SYRIZA - not the party in its present shape, but the old, orthodox one - had done its job properly when putting together its ballot for the last national elections or even during the vote for a new party leader.
