Former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis on Friday hastened to dismiss claims made by French President Francois Hollande in a new book that Russian President Vladimir Putin had told him he had been approached by Greek officials a day after a referendum on the country's third bailout agreement on July 5, 2015, and asked whether Athens could print drachmas in Russia.
