Looking back, 2010 was a crucial juncture in Greece-Israel relations.

Greece and Israe have not yet developed their relationship to its fullest potential, Ambassador Yossi Amrani told Kathimerini in an interview in Athens last week.

Israel's ambassador to Greece, Yossi Amrani insists that relations between the two countries have not yet developed to their full potential. 

In an interview with Kathimerini, Amrani hailed the progress made in recent years by the two countries which, along with Cyprus, forged strong ties across the board, from research, fire fighting and culture, to tourism and defense.

Turkey's illegal activities in the Eastern Mediterranean were at the center of a telephone call Wednesday between Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides ahead of Friday's extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council meeting.

Bilateral relations between Greece and Israel and Turkey's illegal actions in the Eastern Mediterranean were at the center of talks between Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Israel's ambassador in Athens, Yossi Amrani, the former said in a tweet Wednesday.
