Privatization agency announces total bids of 4.24 mln€ for 4 properties around Greece
Greece's privatization agency, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), on Friday announced that an e-auction process for four properties around the country was concluded, with total bids exceeding 4.24 million euros.
The process included the right of counter-offer via a relevant online platform.
As temperatures plummet, snow covers mountainous regions in Greece
The regional authorities of Achaia, western Greece, were urging drivers on Thursday to use snow chains if travelling near the area of Kalavryta, as a cold front brought freezing temperatures around the country.
State-run news agency ANA-MPA reported that snow chains were required when travelling from Kalavryta to Diakopto, Patras and Halandritsa.

Sailor killed, three injured in blast on tanker
A Spanish sailor was killed on Thursday and three more seamen were injured in an explosion on a tanker anchored in the port of Drepano, in the prefecture of Achaia.
Of the three sailors who were hurt, one remained in critical condition at a nearby hospital last night while the injuries sustained by the other two were said not to be life-threatening.
