An elderly woman in Central Anatolia, who is not allowed to leave her house due to a curfew imposed on people over the age of 65 amid the coronavirus pandemic, has called the 112 emergency line, requesting food for two lambs she looks after at her house.

The sale of public properties worth $3.28 million has been approved by the Directorate of Privatization Administration (ÖİB), according to a decision published in the Official Gazette on Feb. 26.

Mustafa İlhan, a bike mechanic who lives in Sandıklı district of Afyonkarahisar province, has set up a mobile tribune on his van in order not to hear obscene language at stands in stadiums and watch his team's games while barbecuing.

İlhan watches the games of Sandıklıspor, which competes in the Regional Amateur League, on his mobile tribune and enjoys his barbecue.

Turkey has lost 10 of its lakes in the last 30 years due to climate change, drought and wrong agricultural irrigation techniques, the head of a natural protection association has said.
