Altınova Municipality

Dilburnu Lighthouse, located in Altınova, Yalova in Türkiye's Marmara region, has become a museum where the story of a lighthouse is told for the first time in Türkiye.

Hersek Lagoon in northwestern Turkey, in addition to being home to water birds, hosts summer migratory birds that come to the area for incubation. 

The 152-hectare lagoon in Altinova district - known as bird hotel among residents because some species spending the fall and winter months there - sent the winter migrating waterfowls to other countries.

The history of Kibatos Castle, an important structure of the Byzantine period, which was discovered at a depth of about 3 meters in 2019 in the Marmara Sea, is being revealed through research.
