Hundreds of trucks divert route amid Ukraine war
Hundreds of international and local freight trucks are diverting their route to avoid conflict in Ukraine to use a border crossing on Turkey's border with Georgia in order to deliver goods to their destinations via the Caucasus, causing
kilometers-long lines on the highways.

Couple saved by hanging rope amid flood in Black Sea region
A video footage that has recently come to light showed a couple being saved by a hanging rope from a flood in the Black Sea province of Artvin on July 22.
Triggered by heavy rain, floods have devastated the city's Arhavi district and filled the Töngel family's house, which was in the basement of a building, with water and mud.

Heavy rains affected the province of Rize, as well as other areas, and torrents and landslides caused great material damage.
Many residential and business buildings were flooded, as well as agricultural land.
Many businesses in the industrial zone in Murgul, Artvin, were also flooded.

Heavy rain has once again hit the Black Sea province of Rize, less than two weeks after the torrential rain and flooding in the city killed at least six people while two others went missing.
In the Fındıklı, Çamlıhemşin and Ardeşen districts of the province, the creeks overflowed their banks.
