Ayd?n

An almost 600-year-old historic bridge in the Aegean province of Ayd?n will be rebuilt after it collapsed this past January during restoration works. 

The bridge over the Dandalaz creek in the Karacasu district of Ayd?n, which also boasts the ancient city of Aphrodisias nearby, collapsed on Jan. 30 during renovations.

An Interior Ministry decree to reshuffle the police chiefs in Bingöl, Çorum, Ayd?n and Diyarbak?r provinces was published in the Official Gazette on Aug. 20, Anadolu Agency has reported.

Turkey?s Constitutional Court has upheld a law that stipulates a prison sentence for those who store ?oral, anal, group, gay or lesbian? porn on the grounds that they are ?unnatural,? Turkish media reported on April 20.
