Turkish boxer becomes European champion

Turkish national athlete Buse Naz Çakıroğlu has become the European champion in the 50 kg category by defeating her Irish rival at the European Women's Boxing Championship.

At the championship held in Montenegro's Budva province, Çakıroğlu competed with Caitlin Fryers in the final.

Defeating her rival with a score of 5-0, Çakıroğlu earned the gold medal.

Kosovo Faces Uphill Fight in Claiming Yugoslav-Era Property

More than two decades since it broke away from Serbia in war, Kosovo is trying to claim ownership over more than 160 properties dotted around the former Yugoslavia.

So far, proceedings have been started in the case of two properties in neighbouring Montenegro totalling some 37,500 square metres in the coastal municipality of Budva.

The sum of evidence collected by two independent experts, sources involved in the project and via documents reviewed by the Centre for Investigative Journalism in Montenegro, CIN-CG, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, BIRN, and the weekly Monitor, indicate that WTE overcharged by millions of euros for the construction of the one completed treatment plant.

Special units and police patrols are located at almost every city intersection, Sputnik reporter informs. The main highway is blocked for traffic, and the police are redirecting vehicles so that it is not possible to pass through Budva to Jaz and further in the direction of the Bay of Kotor.

Legendary producer and DJ Fatboy Slim, and soul singer John Newman will be the lead stars at the start of the post-Exit Sea Dance music festival in the Montenegrin resort of Budva on Thursday.

For the third year, the Exit festival is being held two locations, at the Novi Sad fortress in Serbia - its original location - and then at Jaz Beach in Montenegro.
