A rocket projectile fired from an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)-controlled region in Syria hit the border province of Kilis on Oct. 26, state-run Anadolu Agency reported. 

An 18-year-old woman Syrian farm laborer was lightly injured while working in field in the Elbeyli district.

The woman was admitted to Elbeyli State Hospital.

A total of 11 suspects were detained yesterday in Turkey's capital, Ankara, for recruiting militants for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and having connections with the group, the state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Tons of explosive material has been seized near the Turkish-Syrian border in two days, with 17 suspected members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) detained in the border town of Kilis.

Turkish police have detained over a dozen foreigners near the country's border with Syria on suspicion of attempting to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). 

The Kilis Governor's Office said on Aug. 21 that security forces had intercepted 16 suspects in Elbeyli district. According to the office, 14 of the suspects were foreign nationals.

Five suspects have been detained in an operation against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Black Sea province of Samsun, while two foreigners, who were alleged to be ISIL members, were detained in the southeastern province of Kilis.
