Storm Boris: At Least 16 Dead, Fears of New Floods
The severe storm Boris caused catastrophic damage across Central Europe over the weekend, with the death toll from flooding continuing to rise.
So far, at least 16 people have been confirmed dead, with most victims found in Czechia, Poland, and Austria. In Czechia, one person drowned in a stream near Bruntál in the northeast, and seven people are still missing.

European Commission offers financial support of €101.5 mln for 2023 floods
The European Commission is proposing financial support worth €101.5 million for Greece to support recovery efforts following the floods caused by storms Daniel and Elias last year.
The support is part of a €1 billion package to help Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, and France to deal with the impacts of the severe floods that hit these countries in 2023.
Slovenian team deployed in flood relief effort in Italy
Slovenia has deployed a civil protection and disaster relief unit to the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna to help in the relief effort in the wake of devastating flooding that has claimed 14 lives.
Setting off from Ajdoviščina in the west of the country on 22 May, the 32-member team is equipped with two high-capacity pumps and will be in charge of flood control pumping.
Italy flooded, at least eight victims PHOTO/VIDEO
Practically all the watercourses between Rimini and Bologna burst their banks from yesterday evening to this morning, flooding vast areas of the Romagna.
Local authorities announced that the floods affected 37 cities and towns, and that around 120 landslides were registered.

Di Maio protests Greek travel restrictions on Italian tourists

Four Bulgarians in Italy Infected with COVID-19
Four Bulgarian citizens have contracted a coronavirus in Italy and have been admitted to a hospital in the Emilia-Romagna region. According to the Consulate General of Milan, one of them is in serious condition. A case of a sick Italian born in Bulgaria has also been reported. This was reported by the MFA.

Italy is Locked Down because of the Coronavirus
Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has announced the extension of anti-coronavirus measures across Italy, Reuters reports.
There is a travel ban that applies to all Italians.The government said only those with a valid work or family reason that cannot be postponed will be allowed to travel.
