Firefighters come under PKK fire in Turkey's southeast

Outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants injured one firefighter on March 27 in the Nusaybin district of the southeastern province of Mardin, where clashes between security forces and the PKK are ongoing. 

The firefighters were targeted as they tried to put out a fire that had broken out at a house in the Yeni?ehir neighborhood of Nusaybin at around midday.

Three police officers, two soldiers killed in PKK attacks

The outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) killed three policemen and two soldiers on March 22 in bomb attacks and clashes in southeastern Turkey, where joint military-police operations are ongoing. 
Two policemen and one soldier were killed in a clash in the town center of the Yüksekova district in Hakkari province. One policeman and eight soldiers were also injured.
