Govt for memorandum on Ljubljana Passenger Terminal with key stakeholders
Ljubljana – The government decided on Thursday to sign a memorandum of understanding with all key stakeholders of the Ljubljana Passenger Terminal, a public-private project that is to make Ljubljana a modern transport hub. Construction work is expected to be launched in 2022.

The Sloga Cinema gained notoriety in the 1980s through the screening of erotic films until its rebirth as Kino Dvor in the 1990s. When the city's cinemas began to close down at the end of the millennium, the then Kino Dvor closed as well. It was rebuilt and opened as an art cinema in 2003 under the leadership of Silvan Furlan, Director of Slovenska kinoteka (Slovenian Cinematheque).

Wood in focus of Green Capital in October
The desire is to highlight the importance of forests, wood and green areas for safeguarding biodiversity and providing a healthy environment for people and animals.
The Municipality of Ljubljana said that forests were a key factor in mitigating the effects of climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
