George H.W. Bush fractures neck after fall at home
Former President George H.W. Bush, aged 91, has broken a bone in his neck after a fall at his home. He is in a stable condition at the Maine Medical Center.
His spokesman, Jim McGrath, said on Twitter:
“41 fell at home in Maine today and broke a bone in his neck. His condition is stable – he is fine – but he’ll be in a neck brace.”

Former U.S. president George H. W. Bush, 90, has been admitted to a Texas hospital suffering shortness of breath, a family spokesman said Dec. 23.
"President Bush was taken by ambulance to the Houston Methodist Hospital as a precaution after experiencing a shortness of breath earlier this evening," his spokesman Jim McGrath said.
