More than 60 Were Killed in Blasts at Mosque in Afghanistan
More than 60 dead and 36 injured in a mosque explosion in eastern Afghanistan, BTA reported.
A spokesman for the governor of the eastern province of Nangarhar said there were children among the victims.
During the explosion, the roof of the temple collapsed.
Suicide Bomber Kills 13 in Election Rally in Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — An Afghan official says a suicide bomber has struck an election rally in the country's eastern Nangarhar province, killing at least 13 people and wounding more than 30.
Attahullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor, says some of the wounded are in critical condition, which increases concerns that the death toll could rise further.

Afghanistan: Sikhs among 19 Dead in Jalalabad Suicide Attack
BBC - A suicide bombing in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad has killed at least 19 people, most of them members of the country's Sikh minority.
Police said they had been travelling in a vehicle to meet President Ashraf Ghani, who is visiting Nangarhar province, when the bomber struck.

65 Jihadists were Killed in Afghanistan
At least 65 extremists from the Islamic State terrorist group were killed and 18 injured in Afghan army operations in the eastern province of Nangarhar, TASS reported.
The operations were carried out on land and air. A peaceful citizen died, 13 other people, including women and children, were injured.
