Five policemen killed in PKK attacks in southeastern Turkey

Three police officers were killed and one severely injured in an attack by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey's southeastern province of Mardin.

PKK militants detonated a previously installed improvised explosive device (IED) during the patrol of an armored vehicle in Mardin's Nusaybin district.

Police raid mosque used as base by PKK militants in southeastern town

Turkish police raided a mosque allegedly used by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants as a base in the Nusaybin district in southeastern Mardin province on Aug. 16.
