Two trains have collided head-on early on Sept. 8 in the Tuzla district of Istanbul, with no casualties reported.

Permits of 400 taxis at Istanbul Airport revoked over irregularities
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has canceled the work permits of a total of 400 taxis operating at the major airport in the city after inspections revealed that their taximeters did not meet standards.
Chinese smartphone maker Tecno Mobile starts production in Turkey
One of China's biggest mobile phone maker Tecno Mobile has begun manufacturing in Turkey with an investment of $35 million, a company statement said on May 24.
"We plan to employ around 1,000 people at our production facility at Istanbul's Pendik district in the first year of trading," said Hank Li, Tecno Mobile's Turkey manager.
Ambulance attacked over suspected virus case
An ambulance that was transferring a person with a suspected coronavirus case to a hospital came under attack in Istanbul's Pendik district on March 29.
An individual stopped the ambulance on its way to the hospital, questioning the crew on the identity of the person on the vehicle and asked if the person on the vehicle had the virus.
