City officials recently met with Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) planners to discuss extending operating hours for Metro lines 2 and 3.

The proposal includes extending service by one hour on weekdays, shifting the last departure from 12.23 a.m. to 1.30 a.m., and by one to two hours on Fridays and Saturdays, potentially extending it until 2.30 a.m. or 3.30 a.m.

During the holiday period leading up to New Year and Epiphany, Athens metro and tram lines will operate on a modified timetable with reduced services. All rail services will conclude by 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

The daughter of pop megastar Paul McCartney has given an intimate peek into the hallowed halls of Abbey Road, the studio where he and many other music stars recorded masterpieces. 

Mary McCartney directed the new documentary, "If These Walls Could Sing," which gets a worldwide release on Disney+ on January 6 after premiering in North America in December.

Lauda, who underwent a lung transplant in August, "passed away peacefully" on Monday, his family said.

BELGRADE - "No One's Child", a debut movie by Vuk Rsumovic, received the award titled "New Voices/New Visions" at 26th Palm Springs International Film Festival that took place from January 2 to 12.

The tenth edition of the "Early Bird" international festival for student films starts in Sofia on November 6.

The festival will present to the audience 122 student films from 37 countries till November 11 in the Cinema House (Dom na kinoto) and the G8 cultural centre.

The international jury will distribute the prize of USD 4100 in ten categories.
