Ammo production projects proceed as planned in Lavrio

Hellenic Defense Systems on Tuesday announced that a project officer from the European Commission visited its Lavrio facility, in southeastern Attica, to inspect the progress of projects partly funded by the European Union through the ASAP action, which aims to boost Europe's production base for artillery ammunition.

Bulgaria Advances Military Arsenal: Already Producing NATO-Standard Projectiles

Defense Minister Todor Tagarev revealed that Bulgaria has taken substantial steps to reinforce its military capabilities, confirming that certain companies in the country are presently engaged in the production of 155mm projectiles adhering to NATO standards.

The United States, together with Bulgaria and South Korea, will supply Ukraine with 155 mm ammunition, the Financial Times reported, quoted by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN and BNR.

The US has signed contracts with Bulgaria and South Korea, and is also trying to convince Japan to join the initiative to supply ammunition to Ukraine.
