2014–15 Australian region cyclone season

Australian officials said Feb. 22 all efforts were being made to help those hit by Tropical Cyclone Marcia, which smashed through Queensland state leaving 1,500 homes damaged and thousands without electricity.
      

Two powerful cyclones pounded Australia on Feb. 20 and left a trail of destruction with houses ripped apart, trees uprooted and power lines torn down, cutting electricity to thousands of people.
