Hamburg sign Greece defender Papadopoulos to 2020
Hamburg SV, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, have signed on-loan Greece international Kyriakos Papadopoulos on a permanent three-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen, the Bundesliga club said on Wednesday.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos out for the year with shoulder injury
Bayer Leverkusen and Greece defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos is out until the end of the year with a shoulder injury.
The Bundesliga club says Papadopoulos had an operation late Monday. He was injured in the final practice before the team's departure for the Champions League match against Zenit St. Petersburg.
