Ski jumper Anže Lanišek wins World Cup event in Ruka
Ruka – After fishing second at the men’s Ski Jumping World Cup event in Ruka on Saturday, Slovenian ski jumper Anže Lanišek won on Sunday the second such event at Finland’s ski resort this season in what is his first World Cup individual event victory.
Ski jumper Ema Klinec makes podium in Nizhny Tagil
Nizhny Tagil – Slovenia’s Ema Klinec was second in the women’s Ski Jumping Word Cup meet in Russia’s Nizhny Tagil on Friday, finishing in between the first-placed Marita Kramer of Austria and her compatriot Daniela Iraschko-Stolz. Slovenia’s Urša Bogataj placed fourth.

Nika Križnar wins Ski Jumping Globe
Tchaikovsky – Nika Križnar has won the overall Ski Jumping World Cup to secure the first ever Crystal Globe trophy in the discipline in the women’s competition for Slovenia.
The 21-year-old Slovenian placed third in today’s event in Tchaikovsky, Russia, to pip Japanese Sara Takanashi to the trophy by nine points after the second series was cancelled due to strong winds.

Ski jumper Križnar finishes on podium but loses overall lead
Tchaikovsky – Slovenian ski jumper Nika Križnar finished third in the women’s World Cup event in Russia’s Chaykovsky on Friday, but this was not enough for her to retain the overall lead in the competition. One event to go in the season, Križnar is trailing Sara Takanashi of Japan.
Ski jumper Nika Križnar reclaims yellow jersey
Nizhny Tagil – Slovenian ski jumper Nika Križnar won silver in a FIS World Cup women’s individual event in Nizhny Tagil, Russia on Sunday, reclaiming the yellow jersey. Austria’s Marita Kramer meanwhile clinched another victory on the hill of the Russian ski resort this weekend.

Slovenian mixed ski jumping team 2nd in World Cup in Rasnov
Rasnov – The Slovenian mixed ski jumping team of Nika Križnar, Cene Prevc, Ema Klinec and Žiga Jelar finished second in the World Cup event in Romania’s Rasnov on Saturday to show a good form ahead of the Nordic World Ski Championships in Germany’s Oberstdorf.
Another podium for Slovenia’s Lanišek
Zakopane – Slovenian ski jumper Anže Lanišek won his third podium position this season as he finished second on the large hill in Zakopane, Poland on Sunday, less than three points behind Halvor Egner Granerud of Norway.

Two top-three finishes for Slovenian ski jumpers
Klingenthal/Linz – Slovenia ski jumpers won two World Cup podium positions on Saturday as Bor Pavlovčič finished third in Klingenthal, Germany for his first-ever top-three finish, whereas Nika Križnar was the runner-up in Hinzenbach, Austria.
