The lead of the Super League race has changed hands again, as PAOK lost at home to Aris and AEK has overtaken it, but the most spectacular win belonged to Panathinaikos that defeated archrival Olympiakos in Piraeus.

PAOK has joined Panathinaikos at the top of the Super League table after the Greens drew 2-2 at champion AEK on Sunday night.

The Athens derby at Nea Filadelfia had a dramatic finish, with AEK escaping defeat with a penalty kick deep into injury time.

Olympiakos is the only team in the Super League to have three wins in as many rounds of games, after downing visiting Lamia on Sunday, while AEK and Panathinaikos bounced back from their Champions League elimination to score road wins.
