Vucevic: Pristina making survival of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs impossible
BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said on Tuesday Pristina undeniably continued to exert pressure on Serbs and the Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija and was making it impossible for the Serbs to remain and survive there.
Asked to comment on reports Pristina is planning to form three assault infantry regiments in 2025, Vucevic responded:
UNSC session on UNMIK report rescheduled for October 23
NEW YORK - The UN Security Council session on the next semiannual report on the work of UNMIK, the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija, will be held on October 23.
The session has been rescheduled from October 18.
Tensions in Serbia's southern province have escalated since the most recent session on the mission's work, held on April 27.
Kosovo Supreme Court Clears Serb Ex-Minister of Inciting Hate
Kosovo's Supreme Court said on Wednesday that it has overturned the verdict sentencing ex-minister Ivan Todosijevic to two years in prison for his comments about a January 1999 massacre of Kosovo Albanians in the village of Racak/Recak, which he claimed was staged.
Todosijevic was cleared of inciting ethnic, racial or religious intolerance with his comments.

A smaller group of Serbs remained on the watch in front of the municipalities during the night, and new gatherings began immediately in the morning.

Troops from the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo on Wednesday placed metal fences and barbed wire barriers in a northern town following clashes with ethnic Serbs that left 30 international soldiers wounded.

Immediately after the address, President of Serbia will go to the administrative line.
He will spend the night with the army and monitor the situation from there.

Drecun meets with MEP Lacapelle
BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun met with French MEP Jean-Lin Lacapelle on Friday.
Drecun noted that Serbia would never recognise the false state of Kosovo, regardless of evident political pressure and manipulation, the Serbian parliament said in a statement.
