Whoever was traveling on the Thessaloniki-Athens highway, was able to see a rare sight:

a retired Hellenic Air Force RF-4E reconnaissance airplane loaded on a huge truck right in front of them. Sure there was a traffic jam, but nobody complained…

The airplane went from the 114 Battle Wing at Tanagra to the HAF Museum at Tatoi.

The Athens Flying Week 2016 will be held on September 17-18 at the airbase of Tanagra for two amazing days to offer a unique air show, and a series of individual events.
The best pilots of military and civil aviation will offer to the spectators a show of maneuvers and acrobatics.
