Ljubljana – The heads of four centre-left opposition parties signed an agreement on post-election cooperation in Ljubljana on Tuesday. The deal will be a basis for further active cooperation, and for common programmes, which is to pave the way for the forming of an efficient and development-oriented government.

Ljubljana – Most parliamentary parties have lost ground in the latest poll commissioned by the commercial broadcaster POP TV as the ruling Democratic Party (SDS) posted its worst showing this year and its coalition partner New Slovenia (NSi) slipped back the most.

He was critical in his testimony of the preparedness of the public health authorities and noted the systemic problems in elderly care inherited by his government.

Žužemberk – The coalition New Slovenia (NSi) held its annual informal gathering in Žužemberk on Sunday, with its president Matej Tonin saying that the key achievements of the government were the key achievements of the NSi ministers. He noted that it was not possible to build a stable government without cooperation in the centre and without the NSi.

Ljubljana – Four centre-left opposition parties have tabled motions of no confidence in Justice Minister Marjan Dikaučič and Education Minister Simona Kustec. The main charge against Dikaučič is the failure to appoint delegated European prosecutors. Kustec has been accused of failings regarding getting schools ready for the new wave of the pandemic.

Krško – The head of the ruling coalition Democrats (SDS) and Prime Minister Janez Janša commented at the party’s regional meeting in Leskovec pri Krškem on Saturday on a possible new coalition, saying that the SDS did not exclude anyone but that it did have certain conditions such as that all partners work for the common good rather than own interests.

Ljubljana – Just over a quarter of respondents in the latest public opinion poll conducted by Mediana for commercial broadcaster POP TV support the work of the Janez Janša government, which is the lowest support in this term. The senior coalition Democrats (SDS) continue to top party rankings, followed by the opposition Social Democrats (SD).
