Transport Chaos due to Floods in London
Parts of London have been submerged in floodwater after more than an inch of rain fell on the capital in under an hour.
Flash floods in Knightsbridge burst into luxury shops with cars and buses spraying brown water.

London Piccadilly Theatre Ceiling Collapsed during a Performance (VIDEO)
Part of the ceiling at London's Piccadilly Theatre collapsed during a performance, world agencies have reported.
Several people were injured and the theatre was evacuated.
There were 1,100 people inside the building during the incident. A part of the plaster fell on the ceiling at a time when Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman" starring US actor Wendell Pierce.

In Paris, the Eiffel Tower went dark. In London, a kaleidoscope of famous sites switched off their lights - Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye.
Gas Leak in Central London Closes Train Station, Hotels Evacuated
A major gas leak in central London forced the closure of Charing Cross train station and the evacuation of hundreds of people from nearby nightclubs and hotels on Tuesday, quoted by Reuters.
Police closed the Strand, a major road artery that leads into Trafalgar Square - the very heart of the capital city - and advised people to avoid the area.
