Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will pay a visit to Türkiye, Egypt and Jordan as part of his Middle East tour to discuss ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, his office announced on Oct. 16.

Araghchi will engage in talks in a "diplomatic reach-out to countries of the region to end genocide, atrocity and aggression," the statement said.

Iran's top diplomat has warned U.N. chief Antonio Guterres that Tehran is ready for a "decisive and regretful" response if Israel attacks his country in retaliation for a missile attack.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has talked with Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, over the phone to discuss the regional issues and bilateral ties amid rising tension in the Middle East.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi communicated on Friday with his French and British counterparts, indicating that while Iran does not seek to escalate the regional conflict, it retains the right to respond to Israel's assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Iran's new foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, has called for dialogue with the European Union to resolve bilateral issues, following a phone call with the bloc's top diplomat.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal and International Affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi, writes the Bulgarian National Radio. 

Foreign ministers from major powers were expected back in Vienna on July 4 seeking to score a huge diplomatic success by nailing down a nuclear deal with Iran after almost two years of intense effort.

Iran warned on June 26 that "some major problems" need to be resolved before a historic nuclear deal can be agreed, as US Secretary of State John Kerry prepared to fly to Vienna for crunch weekend talks.

An Iranian negotiator on May 24 denied accepting military site inspections as part of a nuclear deal with world powers, a delicate issue in talks that must be concluded by the end of June.

 A senior Iranian official in talks on the country's disputed nuclear programme has said differences remain on key questions at the ongoing negotiations in Geneva, state media reported on Feb. 23.
