DOHA/BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Monday spoke with Qatar's PM and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, proposing establishment of a joint commission of the two countries.

The commission would define concrete areas where there is interest and possibilities for comprehensive cooperation, Nikolic said at the signing of agreements.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic was on Monday received by Qatar's PM and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Nikolic on the occasion "proposed establishing a joint commission of the two countries," Tanjug reported, quoting a presidential press service statement.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on an official visit to Qatar on Monday, November 7, and meet with top state officials, with several bilateral agreements also to be signed.

Nikolic will meet with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and PM and Interior Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

DOHA - Serbia and Qatar have a strong interest in improving political relations and strengthening economic ties, Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said at the end of a visit to Doha on Monday.
