Engineer missing for a year after disappearance on cargo ship
A 24-year-old Turkish man has been missing for almost a year after mysteriously disappearing during an expedition aboard a Liberian-flagged cargo ship.
The vessel was en route from Egypt's Suez port to Portugal's Porto when Acar was last seen on Sept. 7, 2022.
One suspect arrested over unsolved death of Gabonese student

The lifeless body of Jeannah Danys Dinabongho Ibouanga, 17, whom her friends called "Dina" for short, was found on March 26 in Filyos Stream in the northern province of Karabük.

France's Sephora acquires Turkey's Tekin Acar Cosmetics
Prominent Turkish cosmetics retailer Tekin Acar has been acquired by France's Sephora, with both companies applying to Turkey's Competition Board for approval of the sale.
The sale comes months after Tekin Acar boss Tekin Acar told journalists that both the sector and his business were facing difficulties.

İbrahim Ahmed Acar became the first Turkish fencer to be crowned world champion on April 1.
