Dance & Acrobatics | Elefsina | To June 20

2023 European Capital of Culture Eleusis celebrates the notion of community with its Synoikismos festival, a varied program that includes a special section on the circus arts. Running to June 20, dance, acrobatic, circus and music ensembles from different parts of Europe are joining forces in a series of shows across the West Attica city, demonstrating the power of collaboration.

Cirque du Soleil | Athens | July 18 - August 4

In its 43rd production since 1984, the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil presents "Bazaar," a performance inspired by lively Indian marketplaces. Experience the colorful spectacle composed of more than 90 acrobats, dancers and artists as they take over the old Athens airport, which has hosted countless activities, including portions of the 2004 Summer Olympics, since flight operations ended.

The Performance "A Simple Space" on Bulgarian Stage

Gravity & other myths will be guests in Plovdiv as part of the program "One dance week", reported NOVA TV. 

 A simple space spectacle of the Australian Gravity & other myths acrobats is  defined by the visitors as "Beyond the Limit of Human Opportunities''. They will be for the first time on the Bulgarian stage on 18 October as part of the One dance week program.

Chinese New Year | Athens | January 29 & 30

Traditional music and dances, displays of breathtaking acrobatics and martial arts, workshops in calligraphy, kite-making, cooking and crafts and other displays make up the fun and educational program of events at the Technopolis complex marking Chinese New Year on Tuesday and Wednesday. Doors open daily at 11 a.m. and admission is free of charge.

Fans of all things aviation were able to enjoy impressive manoeuvres, virtual dog fights and breathtaking acrobatics, as the largest air show in Greece, the Athens Flying Week Tanagra International Air Show 2017 kicked off on Saturday at Tanagra Air Base at Schimatari about 63km northwest of Athens.
