Greek survey finds 1 in 5 internet users favor ad blockers
Almost one in five internet users in Greece, mostly men with desktop computers, utilize ad blocking tools, according to a survey by TailWind.
The first Greek survey on the phenomenon showed that 19.6 percent of users employ an ad blocker, with the majority of them men aged between 18 and 34 years of age and with a high educational level.
French media websites take on ad blockers
The websites of several French media outlets joined together on March 21 requesting or requiring readers to disable ad blocking software to gain access to news content.
