Turkish chopper flies low over Kos
A Turkish coast guard chopper flew at low levels over the island of Kos in the eastern Aegean early on Thursday.
According to Greek authorities, the helicopter entered the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) at 7.10 a.m. and exited at 7.27 a.m. The chopper flew betweet 400 and 500 feet, officials said.

Turkish fighter jets conduct eight violations of Greek air space in Aegean
Six Turkish fighter jets flying in formation and another four flying separately carried out a total of eight violations of Greek air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean on Friday.
Of the 10 Turkish aircraft. two were armed, according to Greek defense sources who said that all Turkish jets were chased off by Greek aircraft.
There was one dogfight.
Chios police chief steps down
Andreas Damiris on Thursday stepped down as Chios police chief citing personal reasons. Reports suggested his resignation was tied to the ongoing refugee and migrant crisis.
Dimitris Avgerinos was acting as interim police head on the eastern Aegean island until Damiris's resignation was approved by authorities.

Olympic Air and Aegean schedule extra flight due to transport strikes (flight schedules)
Greek passenger airlines Olympic Air and Aegean decided to schedule emergency flights to the Aegean and Ionian islands to accommodate travelers, in light of the 4-day transport strikes that have affected sea travel. The extra flights will be from Saturday May 7 till Tuesday May 10, and are the following:

Turkish fighter jets violated Greek air space in the southern Aegean on Wednesday, flying over the small island of Ro during a visit there by Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, chief of the National Defense General Staff (GEETHA).

Turkish fighter jet violates Greek air space
A Turkish fighter jet violated Greek air space in the central Aegean Tuesday, entering the Athens Flight Information Region three times, Greek defense officials said.
The aircraft was not armed, according to the officials who said it was chased away by a Greek aircraft in accordance with international laws.

Jordan's Queen Rania latest high-profile figure to visit Lesvos
Queen Rania of Jordan will visit Lesvos on Monday and meet with refugees, according to a statement by the country's royal press office on Saturday.
The queen, who will travel to the eastern Aegean island at the invitation of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), will visit the Kara Tepe camp which operates under the auspices of local authorities.

Aegean Airlines records 8.0% revenue growth in 2015
Aegean Airlines announced on Thursday that its consolidated revenue grew 8.0% to 983 million euros in 2015 compared with the previous year and that passenger traffic grew 15% to 11.6 million.
Net pre-tax earnings went up 6.0% to 100.3 million euros, while net after tax earnings fell 15% to 68.4 million euros due to increased tax burden.
