Ancient Tenea yields secrets
A Roman oil lamp depicting Trojan hero Aeneas carrying his father, inspired by Virgil's epic "The Aeneid," was among the many artifacts unearthed at the site of ancient Tenea which was discovered in 2018 during excavations at Chiliomodi in Corinthia. This season's dig at Tenea revealed a 500-square meter Roman baths complex.

Is Kobane a Trojan horse for Turks?
Turkey is ambivalent on the siege of Kobane. The city lies in the Ottoman Governorate of Syria and was built in 1912 around a train station along the Baghdad Railway. Its name is said to be derived from the German company that worked on building the railway line at the time.
