Air France unions representing both flight crews and ground staff announced on Sunday a new two-day strike for April 10th and 11th, the latest move in its pay dispute with the French flag carrier since February, reported the Local.fr

Various unions have called Air France airline workers to go on strike on February 22 to demand a 6 percent salary increase, pointed out the organizers in a statement.
The strike seeks to show disagreement with the company's decision to increase salaries by one percent, which workers consider 'an act of begging'.

There will be no metro service in the Greek capital on Friday, as workers walk off the job for 24 hours.

The strike has been organized by the SELMA union to protest provisions in the administration's latest omnibus bill which change the rules governing strikes by unions.

The insulators union has endorsed U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, raising the Democratic front-runner's tally of national labor endorsements to 16 unions representing 11 million workers. 

Air traffic controllers in Romania plan to hold a two-hour warning strike on Wednesday.

The strike will be held between 11:00 and 13:00 on Wednesday.

Talks between the air traffic controllers' union and the management of Romania's Air Traffic Services Administration (ROMATSA) on a new collective labor agreement collapsed on Monday, according to local news portal ziare.com.
