Aftermath of the Armenian genocide

The Pan-Pontian Federation of Greece issued a statement at the weekend about a song sung by a Turkish-Cypriot singer Isin Karaca during an event organized in the central square of Komotini in northwestern Greece on August 4 as an "unacceptable provocation" and a "direct insult," as it references the destruction of Smyrna.

“It is not a place where those who call the Turkish nation perpetrators of massacre & genocide will be able to exist, or look at us straight in the eye”

His reaction was at least provocative as one day before the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey
