Greece refuses to take back refugees from Germany, report says

Greece has refused to take back refugees from Germany, in violation of Dublin regulations, according to a report in Germany's Passauer Neue Presse.

In a response to a parliamentary query submitted by the German Left party, the interior ministry reportedly said Germany had made 2,312 resettlement requests.

Volunteers help refugees dress up for Carnival at Moria

With the help of volunteers, dozens of child refugees and single mothers dressed up to celebrate the Carnival season at the Moria refugee camp on Lesvos on Friday. Lawsuit over depleted uranium against 19 members of NATO

UN agency warns of sexual violence at Greek refugee camps

The United Nations refugee agency is urging Greece's government to provide separate housing and washing facilities for women and children at island refugee camps, citing the risk of sexual violence.

The UNHCR says it has received reports from about 180 camp residents who say they have suffered some form of sexual or gender-based violence after arriving in Greece.
