Man found with more than 15 kilos of heroin arrested
A 47-year-old man arrested Monday on the Athens-Patra highway, near the junction for Aghioi Theodoroi, near Corinth, was found to be carrying a television stuffed with more than 15 kilos of heroin.
Elderly man shoots son to death on Crete
The 85-year-old man accused of killing his 58-year-old son son on Saturday in the area of Aghioi Theodoroi on the island of Crete has been given until Tuesday to prepare his defense in court. According to reports on Monday, the accused man appears mentally confused and social workers have requested a psychological evaluation.

Man arrested for starting deadly Aghioi Theodoroi fire when burning brush
Arson investigators on Monday arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly starting a fire in the seaside town of Aghioi Theodoroi, between Athens and Corinth, in which one person was killed and two injured.
According to initial reports, the 28-year-old is a famer who had been burning dead brush near a greenhouse when he lost control of the fire at around 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Search continues for missing woman in Aghioi Theodoroi fire
Firefighters in the seaside town of Aghioi Theodoroi, between Athens and Corinth, were able on Monday to bring under control a large fire that already claimed one life, as rescue workers continued to search for a missing woman.
Woman dies at Aghioi Theodori wildfire
Greece's fire department says that one person has died after a wildfire broke out west of Athens on Sunday.
A body was found in a ravine outside the town of Aghioi Theodoroi, 65 kilometers (40 miles) west of Athens.

Firefighters called out to three blazes in and near Peloponnese
Firefighters were tested on Monday as winds and high temperatures fanned three large blazes in Epidaurus and Mani in the Peloponnese, and Corinth, south of Athens.
The Epidaurus fire broke out near the 12th-century Monastery of Agnountos and took 22 firefighters and nine fire engines to be brought under partial control later Monday.
