Agios Sostis

Limeni, port of Areopolis, is a historic place, home of the prominent family of Mavromichalis,  is admittedly one of the most beautiful residential complexes of Laconic Mani.

Two people were shot dead and two others were injured by unknown gunmen in the district of Neos Kosmos, in Athens, on Monday evening.

According to initial information, the victims and the perpetrators had arranged a meeting in a grove behind the church of Agios Sostis.

A 70-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were on Wednesday being treated at an Athens hospital for injuries sustained when their speedboat crashed into rocks in the bay at Agios Sostis on the Aegean island of Serifos on Tuesday.

The island community of Zakynthos in the Ionian Sea is reeling after the murder of a 37-year-old woman and the injury of her 53-year-old husband in broad daylight on Tuesday.

The couple came under fire while on a motorcycle in the Agios Sostis region.

Two people, aged 70 and 51, were injured when their speedboat crashed into a rocky shoreline near the area of Agios Sostis on the Aegean island of Serifos on Tuesday.
Coast Guard officials assisted with the crash.
The two passengers were taken to the hospital. They were not believed to have life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
