Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has started to interfere openly in Bulgarian domestic politics, pundits said after he made an unprecedented video address to Bulgaria's mostly ethnic Turkish Movement of Rights and Freedoms (DPS).

The Supreme Administrative Prosecutor's Office (SAP) in Rosenets Park, where the summer beachside mansion of the honorary chairman of the MRF Ahmed Dogan is located, has established numerous violations following its inspection - lack of investment design and project documentation, no building permits issued, as well as data related to document falsification, reported Dnevnik.

US Ambassador to Bulgaria, Eric Rubin, visited the headquarters of the ethnic Turkish party "Movement for Rights and Freedoms", the party's press office said on 20th of September.

Rubin spoke yesterday with MRF Honorary Chair Ahmed Dogan and Chairman Moustafa Karadyi. The three have discussed topical political issues and the development of bilateral relations.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is putting a motion of no confidence in the government on corruption law today.

After a series of meetings with the Movement For Rights and Freedoms (DPS), it turned out that there were differences and the party would not vote with the Socialists.

"We expect that Rumen Radev will be a good president. We, DPS, will give him 101 days… and we will assess him after 101 days," stated in an interview for Nova TV the chairman  of DPS Mustafa Karadayi.

Uncertainty looms about the number of unknown candidates that are to register with Bulgaria's Central Electoral Commission to run in the presidential elections on November 06.

Ahmed Dogan, the honorary chair of the Movements and Freedoms Party (DPS), could be nominated for President of Bulgaria, the party's current head Mustafa Karadayi has said.

Bulgaria's third-largest, predominantly ethnic Turk DPS party has elected Mustafa Karadayi as its chairman, the party's press office has said.

Karadayi had been pointed for months as the favourite to take over the party well before Sunday's national congress scheduled for the election of a new leader.

Bulgaria's new ethnic-Turkish party, Democrats for Responsibility, Freedom and Solidarity, DOST, denied having links to the Turkish government and confirmed its pro-NATO and pro-EU orientation on Tuesday.

A quarter of traditional supporters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) party would vote for the new party of the former DPS leader, DOST, a Gallup International Bulgaria poll shows.
