Brawl Reported at Macedonian Party Congress

Albanian-language media in Macedonia have reported an exchange of punches between two rival groups at Tuesday's congress of the DUI in the town of Struga, which apparently left one man in hospital with head injuries.

The party itself has stayed silent. Its spokesperson, Bujar Osmani, was not available for comment on Wednesday. The police said no incident was reported.

PRIŠTINA -- According to a Beta news agency report, Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj has decided to dismiss Priština's charge d'affaires in Montenegro.

Xhafer Ahmeti will leave Podgorica after the comments he made about former Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Macedonia Jails Albanian Terrorism Trial Protesters

The Skopje criminal court on Wednesday convicted the protesters of “participating in a crowd that was involved in criminal activity” and vandalising and throwing missiles at the court building during the unrest earlier this month.

They were ordered to pay a total of about 26,000 thousand euro for the damage to the criminal court building.

Kosovo's capital Pristina has shown interest in the Bulgarian public transport as a model for its own  urban planning.

Speaking for the public broadcaster BNR, Pristina's Mayor Shpend Ahmeti said that well-functioning public transport would help to stop the massive flow of cars into Pristina's center.
