Cyprus Air renders its fleet greener
In a move aimed at enhancing operational capacity and embracing sustainability, Cyprus Airways acquired two state-of-the-art Airbus 220s in July. These aircraft are set to debut on the 2024 summer routes, connecting popular Greek island destinations like Rhodes, Skiathos, Santorini and Iraklio on Crete, and Preveza on the mainland.

Connectivity is important for Cyprus
Cyprus' connectivity with other countries is very important for matters of tourism and the economy in general, the president of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, said last Friday.
He was attending the presentation of two new Airbus A220s for the Cyprus Airways fleet at the old Larnaca Airport.

Era ends for Canada's bombardier aerospace giant
It is the end of an era for Bombardier as the Canadian aerospace company announced on Feb. 13 it is getting out of the commercial aviation business in a bid to pay down billions of dollars in debt.
The company lost $1.61 billion in 2019 and finds itself with total debt of $10 billion.

Swiss International Air Lines stopped the flights of 29 Airbus A220 aircraft due to engine problems. This was reported by NOVA.
The reason for the decision was the incident on Tuesday of a flight by the company from London to Geneva, which was redirected to Paris due to technical problems.
