Korean Air wins $92.4 million parts deal with

South Korea's top carrier Korean Air said April 23 that it had secured a 100 billion won ($92.4 million) deal with Airbus to supply parts for the European firm's new A330neo.

From 2016, Korean Air will start producing "sharklets" - specialised winglets attached to the tip of an aircraft's wings - for the twin-engine jet under development by Airbus, a spokesman said.

Germanwings plane crash: Second black box confirms Lubitz acted deliberately

The second black box from the Germanwings Airbus A320 which crashed in the French Alps last week was found yesterday after a nine-day search and, as it was expected, it confirmed that 27-year-old co-pilot Andreas Lubitz brought down the plane intentionally.

Germanwings Co-pilot "Hid Details of Illness", Prosecutors Say

Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot of crashed Germanwings plane, has hid the details of an "existing illness" and "corresponding medical treatment" from his employers, according to German prosecutors.

The prosecutors said they found torn-up sick notes in his home, including one covering the day of the crash of the Airbus A320, but didn't say what his illness was.
